I watched it Sunday afternoon while hubby took his nap....and then again later that same evening when he expressed his interest... He was glued to it. Not one pause for a break, just for him to ask questions (it takes him some time to do that...he has Aphasia)...which thanks to this place and others, I could answer...and for a man in a wheel chair that is impressive...

Matt - You were fabulous...

Yesterday, Monday...Hubby asked me..."Is this why you are building shelves in the basement?"...I told him "yes, to store more food." He said, "good...let me know what I can do to help".... he is partially paralysed on the right side... but getting better....I cried. I put him in charge of the store fliers to find the best bargains on canned goods, etc.

I expect more questions. I saw him yesterday sitting staring out the window...I could "see" the wheels turning... He is thinking about it all...

Bless you Sarabeth. You're terrific inspite of some much adversity.
Can Hubby cruise the internet? It might be another way for
him to work and feel useful. M

Thanks Michelle, but I'm nothing special... just making lemonade out of the lemons life hands us...  Wink

He is having trouble using a computer right now. We are working on it though.

Good news, I should have it in the LATOC store in 10 days, maybe less.

But it's a bit more expensive than the others at $29.95.

The only people distributing right now are in Canada, in 4-8 weeks there will be american distributors and the price might be a few bucks cheaper.

While you are waiting to rent this movie, watch "Who killed the electric car" I rented it yesterday on netflix. Very good, shows how big oil, GM and Government is just about making money. Its amazing and sad what GM does with thier own electric car in 2000. I wont say anymore about the movie to spoil it for anyone. I urge you to watch it if you havent. Really shows the real agendas of big corperations.

Stock it and it will sell...

Well I'll buy a copy anyway.

Good movie!!! Much better than "End of Suburbia".

Of course not much new information for me, but seeing all those depleted fields was shocking. It was also nice to see Matt.

I watched it awhile ago. Still makes me mad whenever I think of it. Such incredible waste, and so many people who desperately wanted to keep them.

I looked into getting an electric when my vehicle was on it's last legs - er wheels - Used RAVs were all that were available, but too expensive! Or do a conversion - also expensive. Bought a Prius - best decision I ever made.

Any word on a distributor yet?
I want to buy it, but am torn by the idea of shipping something from Canada, to the US, to the UK...

The only distributor right now is in Canada.

I'm the only retailer as far as I know who has it for sale and shipment inside of the next 7-10 days.

Amazon's Canada division says they'll have it in 6 weeks.
